The "Green COMAC Day" activities with a theme of "Empower Aircraft Manufacturing with Green Development, Jointly Build Industrial Ecosystem with Low Carbon" were launched in COMAC Assembly and Manufacturing Center on June 5th, 2026. Relevant heads of the Bureau of Social Responsibility under State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Mr. He Dongfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), Mr. Shen Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of COMAC, Mr. Luo Xingping, Leader of Discipline Inspection Group of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the State Committee of Supervisory of the People's Republic of China in COMAC and Member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee of COMAC, Mdm Li Ling and Mr. Wu Wensheng, Members of Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Presidents of COMAC, Mr. Wu Guanghui and Mr. Chen Yong, Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientists of COMAC, Mr. Deng Zhiwei, Vice President of Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC), and Mr. Li Hancheng, Secretary of the Party Committee.

   

 

At present, COMAC is systematically building a three-in-one development pattern of "green aircraft, green homeland and green supply chain". A green aircraft is a core carrier for low-carbon development. COMAC should adhere to carbon reduction at the source and be empowered by technology to create efficient and environment-friendly domestic high-quality aircraft models; and should make forward-looking plans in the fields of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and new energy aircraft to accumulate lasting momentum for green aviation. A green homeland is a solid foundation for low-carbon development. COMAC should adhere to intelligent manufacturing transformation, energy conservation and efficiency improvement to build an intensive and low-carbon commercial aircraft manufacturing system; and should closely adhere to the goals of "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality" and promote the transformation of production and manufacturing towards intelligence, greenness and integration. A green supply chain is an important support for low-carbon development. COMAC should adhere to the leading role of chain leaders and promote collaborative progress to build a safe and controllable green industrial ecosystem; and should promote advanced green processes and join hands to build a green industrial ecosystem featuring coordinated carbon reduction, mutual benefit, win-win results, openness and sharing.
