"New Blueprint, New Future". 2026 COMAC Customer Conference was held in Guangzhou on June 3rd, 2026. Guests from government agencies, airlines, airport groups, financial institutions and medical institutions gathered together to discuss the prospects and shape the future of the industry on topics such as industrial development, operational efficiency and technology sharing. 

 

 

Mr. Xi Yadong, Deputy Director of CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration, Mr. Liang Shuang, Vice President of China Southern Air Holding Company Limited (CSAH), Mr. Fu Fangxing, CFO of China National Aviation Holding Corporation Limited (CNAH), Mr. Li Zhiyong, Vice President of China Eastern Airlines, Mr. Wu Qiang, Vice President of China Tourism Group (CTG), Mr. Ding Yongzheng, Chairman of HNA Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Tao Runwen, Chairman of Xinjiang Airport Group Co., Ltd., Mdm Mariam Alshamsi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Guangzhou, and Mr. Zhu Yaochun, Vice President of China Air Transport Association (CATA), were invited to attend the conference.

Mr. Shen Bo (R1) presented awards to the representatives of the groups winning the Outstanding Contribution Award of Aircraft Introduction on June 3rd, 2026. 

 

Mr. Qi Xuefeng (R1) presented awards to the representatives of the groups winning the Outstanding Contribution Award of Service Quality on June 3rd, 2026. 

 

Mr. Yu Shihai (R1) presented awards to the pilots winning the Golden Pilot Award on June 3rd, 2026.

 

At the conference, Mr. He Dongfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), Mr. Shen Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of COMAC, Mr. Qi Xuefeng, Member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of COMAC, and Mr. Yu Shihai, Member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee and CFO of COMAC, presented awards to the groups and individuals winning the Outstanding Contribution Award of Operation, the Outstanding Contribution Award of Aircraft Introduction, the Outstanding Contribution Award of Financial Support, the Outstanding Contribution Award of Service Quality, the Outstanding Contribution Award of Airport Support, Best Cabin Crew Award, Golden Pilot Award, Lean Operation & Control Award, Exquisite Maintenance Award, and Sincere Supervision Award at the ceremony of the Fifth COMAC Soaring Award. Mr. Yu Shihai presided over the conference. 

 

 

Mr. Shen Bo expressed in his keynote speech that the global civil aviation industry was currently at a critical juncture of recovery, transformation and reshaping. COMAC hoped to always provide the most reliable product quality and the most practical service support, and be the most trustworthy partner for customers and partners. COMAC would adhere to the bottom line of safety and work together with its customers to build a solid foundation for long-term trust; would strictly control production quality and safety, and solidify safety responsibilities in the whole life cycle. and would insist on the principle of being customer centered and jointly create a new operational situation of value growth with customers. COMAC had always taken the operational efficiency of the fleet and the flight experience of the passengers as the core standards for measuring the competitiveness of its products, and had striven to ensure that every customer can use its aircraft with confidence and fly economically. COMAC would firmly launch quality products and work with customers to expand a diverse and rich range of choices for the combination of trunk and regional lines; would promote the healthy development of C909 services for regional aviation, and make C919 a new aircraft source in the global trunk market to provide customers with more competitive choices; would resolutely deepen open cooperation and work with customers to build a mutually beneficial and win-win global industrial ecosystem; and would deepen cooperation with global supply chains, expand the scope of cooperation in the trunk liner ecosystem, and stand together with global partners and airline customers to go through thick and thin, build dreams with one heart, and fly side by side towards a more brilliant future. 

 

At the conference, a head of the CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration and a head of CSAH delivered speeches respectively. Representatives from Shantou Airlines Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary to China Southern Airlines), China Express Airlines, and TransNusa made in-depth exchanges on the themes such as the operational practices of C909 aircraft and the development prospects of regional aviation. 

 

During the conference, guests from Etihad Airways, VietJet Air, Lao Airlines, Xizang Airlines, Zhongyu Aviation Group Co., Ltd., Chengdu Airlines, Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Victory Investment Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Airport Authority Co., Ltd., Yunnan Airport Group Co., Ltd., Bank of Communications Finance Leasing Co., Ltd., SPDBank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., ICBC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., Agricultural Bank of China Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone attended four thematic meetings respectively on market operation, derivative models of aircraft, aviation finance, and demand matching for C909 cargo aircraft.
