2026 COMAC Supplier Conference was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on March 26th. More than 600 representatives from suppliers, airlines and other enterprises gathered together to build consensus, deepen mutual trust, plan for development and open up new prospects regarding the new situation and new tasks of trunk liner industry development. Mr. Shen Bo, President of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), Mr. Qi Xuefeng, Vice President of COMAC, Mr. Yu Shihai, CFO of COMAC, and Mr. Wu Guanghui, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of COMAC, attended the conference.
On behalf of COMAC, Mr. Shen Bo extended sincere thanks to the friends from all walks of life who had long cared for and supported the development of the trunk liner career. He expressed that looking back over the past five years, COMAC had worked hand in hand with all partners to meet challenges and overcome difficulties, and had achieved new breakthroughs in large-scale development and reached new heights in serialized development. Looking ahead to the next five years, providing customers with commercial aircraft which are safer, more economic, more comfortable and more environmental-friendly would be the eternal common pursuit of COMAC. COMAC would always firm the development confidence, deepen the life community, and maintain the opening-up cooperation. COMAC was looking forward to working with all partners to share the opportunities of the era and the trunk liner career, and jointly write a new chapter in the development of the trunk liner career.
Mr. Qi Xuefeng expressed that China's civil aviation market had broad prospects, and the trunk liner career had entered a new stage of large-scale development. COMAC was committed to building a life community to promote the flow, transmission and sharing of resources, knowledge and technology throughout the full chain. COMAC hoped to join hands with global supplier partners, move forward in unison, build an ecosystem through industrial collaboration, and jointly create a brighter future for the trunk liner career.
At the conference, latest information on market expanding, aircraft program progress, production and delivery, operation guarantee, and purchase & supply chain management of COMAC was released. Representatives from Air China, Chengdu Airlines, etc. introduced the operation of the aircraft. Representatives from the suppliers such as MOOG and AVIC CAC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. shared their experiences. Winners of 2025 Supplier of the Year Performance Excellence Awards and Outstanding Individual Contribution Award were commended at the awarding ceremony of the conference.
During the conference, COMAC also held relevant thematic meetings and organized the activities such as customer service parallel sessions and high-level connection meetings.
