The supplier conference was strongly supported by the Xi'an Municipal Government and related enterprise and suppliers. Mr. Shen Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), Mr. Qi Xuefeng, Mr. Yu Shihai and Mdm Li Ling, leaders of COMAC, Mr. Wu Guanghui, Chief Scientist of COMAC and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as leaders and experts of suppliers and related enterprises attended the conference.

 

 

　　On behalf of COMAC, Mr. Shen Bo extended sincere thanks to the friends from all walks of life who had long cared for and supported the development of the trunk liner career. He pointed out that COMAC, as a young main manufacturer, had been adhering to the idea that the main manufacturers and the suppliers form a "life community" since its establishment, and every achievement made in the trunk liner career had embodied the wisdom and strength of all suppliers. At present, the trunk liner career had fully entered a new stage of large-scale and industrialized development. COMAC was looking forward to further expanding and deepening cooperation with global suppliers in the process of industrial scale expansion, industrial element cohesion and industrial ecology cultivation, so as to achieve mutual benefits and win-win situation and share new opportunities for the development of the trunk liner career. Looking into the future, COMAC hoped to work together with all suppliers to pursue dreams and gather strength to move forward, jointly create a new chapter in the large-scale development of the trunk liner career, and jointly build a healthier, more prosperous and high-quality life community.

 

 

　　Mr. Qi Xuefeng expressed that COMAC was looking forward to cooperating with all suppliers to insist on quality and efficiency improvement, and join hands to achieve high-quality development; insist on cooperation and coordination, and join hands to accelerate industrialization; insist on the principle of guarantee first, and join hands to achieve large-scale operation; insist on the strategy of driving development by innovation, and join hands to complete green and intelligent construction. COMAC was looking forward to working closely with all suppliers to create a common future in becoming "newer", build confidence together, tackle key problems, seek development, share opportunities, achieve mutual benefits and win-win situation, and promote the sustainable development of the trunk liner life community.

　　At the conference, information on market expanding, aircraft program progress, production and delivery, and purchase & supply chain management of COMAC was released; exchanges and discussions on relevant issues were made by customer representatives such as China Eastern Airlines (CEA) and China Express Airlines, and supplier representatives such as Future Advanced Composite Components (FACC) and AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (XAC).

 

 

 

 

　　During the supplier conference, COMAC held a 2024 Performance Excellent Supplier Award Ceremony, and ceremoniously commended Performance Excellent suppliers and individuals with outstanding contributions in 2024. In addition, more than 100 representatives from domestic and foreign suppliers visited the Assembly Manufacturing Center of COMAC and boarded a C919 aircraft of CEA flying from Shanghai to Xi'an to experience the flight.

 

 

　　Before and after the supplier conference, COMAC also organized a supply chain compliance forum, a quality airworthiness forum, a supply chain finance forum, thematic meetings on airframe structure, raw materials and customer service, and an airborne system parallel session to discuss the next stage of work in detail.
