The CPC Central Committee and the State Council have made a strategic decision from a historical and macro perspective to develop large commercial aircraft program after sizing up the situation and taking a broad and long-term view. The program plays an important role in building an innovation-oriented country and a comprehensive well-off society and in achieving great rejuvenation of China and "China Dream".

The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. (COMAC) was established in Pudong, a promising land for Reform and Opening-up, in May 11th, 2008. This event symbolized the start of independent development of China's large commercial aircraft and brought hope for the development of China's civil aircraft. Flying China-made large commercial aircraft into the blue sky became the will of the state, the dream of the Chinese nation and the expectation of the Chinese people.

COMAC functions as the main vehicle in implementing large commercial aircraft program in China. It is also mandated with the overall planning of developing trunk liner and regional jet programs and realizing the industrialization of civil aircraft in China. Since the incorporation of COMAC, we have firmly implemented the great strategic decisions and important deployments of the central government and upheld the development idea "Innovation-driven, Pioneering-led and Creating Brands". By eliminating distractions, overcoming difficulties, cutting paths through mountains and building bridges over rivers, we have accumulated intensive positive energy for realizing "China Dream".

Looking back, we deeply understand that there are high risks, heavy tasks, long period and many challenges for developing a civil aircraft which comply with international standard, the development will not always go smoothly, the program cannot be accomplished at one stroke and we still have heavy tasks ahead. Looking into the future, the decision of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to develop large commercial aircraft, plus the prosperous outlook of comprehensively building the well-off society and increasing demand for commercial aircraft, provides an excellent opportunity for COMAC to develop.

We will always uphold independent innovation, determinedly adhere to the path of developing civil aircraft with Chinese characteristics and technological progress, establish market-oriented system for technological innovation, in which enterprises play the leading role and which combines the efforts of enterprises, universities and research institutes, build internationally excellent enterprise, comprehensively promote core competence of main manufacturer, grasp core and key technologies, and build an indigenous brand recognized internationally.

We will continue to follow the open and cooperative principles, use the program and company as the platform, strengthen strategic cooperation with suppliers, make full use of international and domestic markets, upgrade civil aircraft industry chain and industrial system construction, and promote upgrading of the industrial structure, product structure, ownership right structure and organizational structure.

We will always act in the scientific spirit and strive for excellence, constantly strengthen the "Global, Thorough and Total" quality management awareness, airworthiness management awareness and cost management awareness, based on the principle of safety first, we are committed to creating exquisite products, and endeavor to build safer, more economic, more comfortable and more eco-friendly commercial aircraft for customers.

We will always give priority to talents, establish a scientific approach to develop talents, implement our strategy of building the company through talents. We shall continue to innovate the mechanism of developing talents by means of attracting talents, making good use of them, and cultivating them, with a view to building COMAC into a "Talent Highland" for talents and a "stage" for their career.

We will continue to carry on the fine spirit of the past and count on our employees to develop the company. Guided by the advanced culture, and acting in the spirit of "indigenously-developed atomic bomb, hydrogen bomb and satellite", manned space, and aeronautical patriotism, we are prepared to "struggle, overcome technical difficulties, meet challenges and dedicate ourselves to the company for a long period of time moving forward". We shall foster a "Spirit of Chinese Large Commercial Aircraft", and let the corporate culture drive the sustainable development of COMAC.

Standing on the new starting point, we will unite closely around the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, keep our mission in the mind, shoulder great responsibilities and make full efforts to build the large commercial aircraft program into a landmark project for the national reform and opening-up campaign in the new era and for building an innovative country. We also vow to build COMAC into a world-class aviation company and let China-made large commercial aircraft fly in the blue skies soon.
