COMAC signed Framework Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Harbin Institute of Technology

Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) signed a Framework Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Harbin Institute of Technology on May 3rd, 2018, in order to strengthen university-industry cooperation and innovation and promote the trunk liner career. Mr. He Dongfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of COMAC, Mr. Zhao Yuerang, Vice President of COMAC, Mr. Wang Shuquan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Harbin Institute of Technology, and Mr. Zhou Yu, President of Harbin Institute of Technology and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the signing ceremony. Mr. Liu Linzong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of COMAC, and Mr. Han Jiecai, Vice President of Harbin Institute of Technology and Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, placed their signatures on the agreement.

According to the agreement, COMAC would develop in-depth exchanges and cooperation on scientific research capability, talent training and international cooperation with Harbin Institute of Technology. Both sides would set up a strategic cooperation leading group, establish a communication and coordination mechanism, review cooperation plans and schemes in the form of a joint conference, listen to the cooperation progress, and examine and supervise the implementation of cooperation.
