Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) held an enlarged meeting of leadership on January 31st, 2018. Mr. He Dongfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of COMAC, presided over the meeting. Entrusted by the leaders of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC (CCCPC), an official of relevant cadre bureau of the Organization Department of CCCPC announced the decision of CCCPC and the State Council on the appointment of President of COMAC: Mr. Zhao Yuerang was appointed as Vice Chairman, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of COMAC. The appointment and removal of relevant posts were subject to relevant laws and regulations.

At meeting, the official also announced the decision on the appointment of the other four members of the company's leadership: Mr. Guo Bozhi, Mr. Cheng Fubo and Mr. Zhou Xinmin were appointed as Vice Presidents and Members of the Party Committee of COMAC. Mr. Zhou Qimin was appointed as CFO and Member of the Party Committee of COMAC. The appointment and removal of relevant posts were subject to relevant laws and regulations.


Curriculum Vitae of Mr. Zhao Yuerang



Mr. Zhao Yuerang, Han nationality, born in April 1962 in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, holds a Master's Degree and a technical title of Researcher. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in March 1998. He graduated from Aircraft Department of Northwestern Polytechnical University majoring in aircraft design with a Bachelor's Degree in 1984, and graduated from Aircraft Department of Northwestern Polytechnical University majoring in aircraft structural strength with a Master's Degree in 1987.

Mr. Zhao Yuerang started his career at Chengdu Aircraft Design & Research Institute of Ministry of Aerospace Industry in April 1987, and served successively as Designer, Vice Leader of Strength Group of Engineering Development Center, and Group Leader of Chengdu Aircraft Design & Research Institute. He has served as Senior Airworthiness Inspector of Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Center of Southwest Regional Administration of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) since June 1995, and served as Vice Director of Chengdu Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Center of CAAC since December 1998. He has worked in Southwest Regional Administration of CAAC since May 2002, and served successively as Director and Deputy Chief Engineer of Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Center of CAAC. He was appointed as Deputy Director General of Department of Aircraft Airworthiness Certification of CAAC in August 2005, again as Deputy Director General of Department of Aircraft Airworthiness Certification of CAAC in March 2008, and as General Manager of Airworthiness Management Department of COMAC in July 2008. He has served as General Manager of Airworthiness Management Department of COMAC and Deputy General Director of ARJ21 Program since September 2012; as General Manager of Airworthiness Management Department of COMAC, Deputy General Director of ARJ21 Program, and Leader of Xi'an Field Test Team since November 2012; as General Manager of Airworthiness Management Department of COMAC, Deputy General Director of ARJ21 Program, Leader of Xi'an Field Test Team, and Director of Xi'an On-site Command Post since March 2013; and as Assistant to President of COMAC, Manager of ARJ21 Program, Deputy General Director of ARJ21 Program, Leader of Xi'an Field Test Team, and Director of Xi'an On-site Command Post since February 2014. He was appointed as Vice President and Member of the Party Committee of COMAC in September 2014,and was appointed as Vice Chairman, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of COMAC in January 2018.

He was once awarded as one of "Chinese Scholars Holding Master's Degree with Outstanding Achievements" by the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, awarded with the First Prize of Hunan Science & Technology Progress Award and Shanghai May 1st Labor Medal, and selected as one of the leading talents in Shanghai.

 

Curriculum Vitae of Mr. Guo Bozhi


Mr. Guo Bozhi, Han nationality, born in March 1962 in Shangzhou, Shaanxi Province, holds a Doctor's Degree of Engineering and a technical title of Researcher. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1992. He graduated from Aircraft Department of Northwestern Polytechnical University majoring in aircraft design with a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in 1983, and graduated from Aircraft Department of School of Aeronautics of Northwestern Polytechnical University majoring in flight vehicle design with a Doctor's Degree in 2008.

Mr. Guo Bozhi started his career at Institute 603 of Ministry of Aerospace Industry in July 1983, and served successively as Designer, Office Secretary, Assistant Engineer, Engineer, Deputy Director of Research Division, Director of Research Division, Director Designer of Chief Engineer Office, Deputy Chief Designer, Chief Quality Engineer, and Deputy Chief Engineer for Type Reliability of ARJ21 Program. He was appointed as Deputy Chief Designer of AVIC The First Aircraft Institute and Deputy Chief Engineer for Type Reliability of ARJ21 Program in September 2003; as Director of Institute 365 of Northwestern Polytechnical University in June 2004; as Deputy Director (Presiding) and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute (SADRI) in June 2008; as Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SADRI in December 2008; as President, Legal Representative and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SADRI, and Director of Design and Research Center of COMAC in November 2009; as President, Legal Representative and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SADRI, Director of Design and Research Center of COMAC, and Deputy General Director of ARJ21 Program in January 2010; as Assistant to President of COMAC, President, Legal Representative and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SADRI, Director of Design and Research Center of COMAC, and Deputy General Director of ARJ21 Program in August 2014; as Assistant to President of COMAC, President, Legal Representative and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SADRI, Director of Design and Research Center of COMAC, Deputy General Director of ARJ21 Program, and Director and President of China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Co., Ltd (CRAIC) in September 2016; as Assistant to President of COMAC, and Director and President of CRAIC in January 2018; and as Vice President and Member of the Party Committee of COMAC in January 2018.

He was once awarded with the Second Prize by the Commission for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (COSTIND) and the Governmental Special Allowance by the State Council.

Mr. Cheng Fubo, Han nationality, born in September 1970 in Bishan, Chongqing, holds a Master's Degree and a technical title of Senior Engineer (Researcher level). He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in July 1992. He graduated from School of Industrial Management Engineering of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics majoring in industrial management engineering, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in 1992. He studied as an on-the-job postgraduate in project management in Beihang University from March 2008 to June 2012, and obtained a Master's Degree of Engineering.

Mr. Cheng Fubo started his career at Chengdu Aircraft Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. (CAC) in July 1992, and served successively as Dispatcher of Workshop 15, Secretary of Secretarial Section under Office of CAC (Office of Party Committee), Deputy Chief of Secretarial Section, Leader of the Preparatory Group of Workshop 16, Director of Workshop 16, Secretary of Party General Branch and Vice President of CAC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd, and Production Commander of Production Commander Office. He was appointed as Deputy Chief Engineer of CAC in December 2003; as Chairman of Labor Union of CAC in February 2006; as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Labor Union of CAC in September 2006; as Vice President of CAC in August 2008; as Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and Vice President of CAC in July 2011; as Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of CAC in May 2013; and as Vice President and Member of the Party Committee of COMAC in January 2018.

He has won the honorary titles of National Model Worker, 2011-2015 Advanced Individual in National Legal Propaganda and Education, and Excellent Party Affairs Worker of Central Enterprises.


Curriculum Vitae of Mr. Zhou Xinmin


Mr. Zhou Xinmin, Han nationality, born in November 1969 in Linchuan, Jiangxi Province, holds a Master's Degree and a technical title of Senior Engineer (Researcher level). He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in June 1999. He graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University majoring in machine manufacturing technology and equipment with a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in 1991, and graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology majoring in mechanical engineering with a Master's Degree of Engineering in 2005.

Mr. Zhou Xinmin started his career at Factory 372 in August 1991, and served successively as Technologist and Deputy Director of Technology Office. He has served successively as Director of CAM Office of Technology Division, Deputy Director of Engineering Technology Division, General Manager, Chief Technologist and Secretary of Party Branch of Engineering Technology Department at AVIC Changhe Aircraft Industry (Group) Corporation Ltd. (CHAIC) since 1999. He was appointed as Deputy Chief Engineer, General Manager and Chief Technologist of Engineering Technology Department of CHAIC in August 2007; as Vice President of CHAIC in March 2009; as Vice President, Chief Engineer and Director of Science and Technology Committee of CHAIC in October 2011; as Vice President, Chief Engineer, Director of Science and Technology Committee, and Chief Law Officer of CHAIC in December 2011; as Director, President, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Engineer, Director of Science and Technology Committee, and Chief Law Officer of CHAIC in May 2013; as Director, President, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Science and Technology Committee, and Chief Law Officer of CHAIC in January 2014; as Director, President, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Director of Science and Technology Committee of CHAIC, and Supervisor of Jiangxi Changhe Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. in December 2014; as Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of CHAIC in January 2016; and as Vice President and Member of the Party Committee of COMAC in January 2018.

Mr. Zhou Qimin, Han nationality, born in November 1967 in Fengxin, Jiangxi Province, holds a Bachelor's Degree and a technical title of Senior Accountant (Researcher level). He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in June 1991. He graduated from Department of Mathematics at Gannan Normal University majoring in mathematics with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in 1989; and from Department of Engineering Management at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China majoring in industrial management engineering with a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in 1991.

Mr. Zhou Qimin started his career at Shanghai Aerospace Communication Electric Company in July 1991, and served as Operator and Comprehensive Planner. He has served successively as Finance Manager of Institute 804 of Shanghai Space Administration of China Aviation Industry Corporation, Assistant Economist, Engineer and Deputy General Manager of Planning Department since 1993; and served successively as Deputy Director and Director of Finance Office of The Eighth Institute (Shanghai Space Administration) of China Aviation Industry Corporation since 1997. He was appointed as CFO of The Eighth Institute (Shanghai Space Administration) of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) in April 2003; as CFO and Member of the Party Committee of The Eighth Institute (Shanghai Space Administration) of CASC in September 2007; as General Manager of Finance Department of COMAC in April 2008; as CFO and General Manager of Finance Department of COMAC in August 2014; as CFO of COMAC in October 2016; and as CFO and Member of the Party Committee of COMAC in January 2018.

He was once awarded with Aerospace Prize by CASC.
