The exhibition is themed with "Smart travel - Sharing quality life" and covers numerous scientific and technical innovation and invention achievements, public lectures, scientific contests, workshops, popular science theaters and funny science performances. The exhibition lasted from October 11th to 15th.

Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) presented a 1:10 cross-sectional model of C919 aircraft and a 1:15 cross-sectional model of CR929 aircraft to comprehensively show the new achievements of China's trunk liner career to Macao compatriots. This is the first time for the mockup of CR929 to be displayed in Macao. In addition, a C919 virtual assembly VR experience area was set up on the spot to popularize the knowledge of civil aircraft and enhance the interaction with audience. What deserves to be mentioned is that at this exhibition, Shanghai HangYu Science Center presented a C919 flight simulator, and audience were allowed to board the simulated cockpit to experience flying the domestic large aircraft.

C919 is the first single-aisle trunk liner independently developed by China completely in accordance with the internationally advanced airworthiness standards and the prevailing market standards. European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accepted the application for type certificate for C919 in April 2017. The first C919 aircraft completed its maiden flight at Shanghai Pudong International Airport successfully on May 5th, 2017, which realizes the Chinese Nation's century dream of civil aircraft, marks a major breakthrough in China's large passenger aircraft program, and is an important milestone in the development of China's civil aviation industry. By now, the first C919 aircraft has already completed two pre-ferry taxiing tests and the second flight test after the maiden flight, and is planning to fly to another airport after initial inspection flight test in Shanghai to carry out airworthiness certification after the maiden flight. COMAC plans to put 6 test aircraft into flight test, and the second aircraft is trying to achieve the maiden flight by the end of the year. At present, a total of 730 C919 orders have been obtained from 27 customers. As the first customer of C919 aircraft, China Eastern Airlines has appointed customer representatives at the end of this August to evaluate the cockpit and maintainability of the aircraft and comprehensively participate in the research and development of the aircraft.

CR929 aircraft program is a major strategic cooperation program between companies of both countries in high-tech field under the background of further developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia. With the witness of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin, COMAC signed a joint venture contract with United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) on June 25th, 2016. At present, a joint venture, China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Co., Ltd (CRAIC), has been established in Shanghai on May 22nd, 2017. The joint venture held a China-Russia Long Range Wide Body Commercial Aircraft Naming & CRAIC LOGO Presentation on September 29th, 2017 and announced that China-Russia long range wide body commercial aircraft is officially named as CR929. At present, both sides have identified the development plan of CR929 series, completed the preliminary definition of aircraft-level indicators, and clarified the range (12,000 km) and seat number (280) of the basic version.
