COMAC exchanges views with international aviation enterprises at Paris Air Show

Mr. Wu Guanghui, Vice President of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), met with international aerospace colleagues at the 52th Paris Air Show from June 19th to 22nd, 2017, and developed in-depth exchanges with the international aerospace colleagues on the issues of common interest.

Mr. Wu Guanghui respectively met with Mr. Henry Brooks, Chairman of United Technologies Corporation (UTC), Mr. Marc Allen, President of Boeing International, Mr. Tony Wood, COO of Meggitt, Mr. Kent Statler, Executive Vice President of Commercial Systems of Rockwell Collins, Mr. Jean Christophe Paris, Deputy Director of Zodiac, Mr. Denis Hugelemann, CEO of Aubert & Duval, Mr. JP Rieuf, General Manager of Moog, Mr. Allen Paxson, Deputy Director of GE Aviation, Mr. Stephane Abrial, Senior Executive Vice President of Safran, and Mr. Nicolas Bonleux, Managing Director of Liebherr Aerospace & Transportation.

Mr. Wu Guanghui introduced the development and construction of COMAC together with the research and development progress of C919 and ARJ21 programs to the aerospace colleagues. He expressed that as a main manufacturer of civil aircraft, COMAC attached great importance to the exchange and cooperation with the international aviation community, and hoped to enhance communication with each company, make full use of respective advantages, and realize mutual benefit and win-win situations.

The aerospace colleagues expressed that China's civil aircraft industry developed rapidly, and civil aviation market had broad prospects. They hoped to develop more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with COMAC in relevant fields of civil aircraft and make contributions to the development of the world civil aircraft industry together.
