The 2nd Class of COMAC Airlines Maintenance Operation and Aircraft Type Familiarization Training was opened in Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. (HAECO Xiamen) on February 13th, 2017. Relevant personnel in management, technology and skill positions of the company entered an industry chain customer to understand customer requirements, further enhancing customer awareness and promote the "five matchmakings" of research and development of aircraft programs with the concepts, systems, organization, process and tooling method of the customer. Mr. Liu Linzong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), and Mdm Jacqueline Jiang, Commercial Director of HAECO Xiamen, attended the opening ceremony and made speeches.
Mr. Liu Linzong pointed out that along with the deepening of the research and development of aircraft programs, we increasingly recognized the importance of enhancing customer awareness and understanding customer requirements; HAECO Xiamen had trained about 700 specialists such as mechanics for COMAC, and both sides would continue to enhance cooperation in talent training, maintenance service, etc.
Mr. Liu Linzong set forth three requirements: the first is to enhance customer awareness, deepen discussion and communication with customers, and listen to customers' opinions and suggestions actively; the second is to strengthen exchanges and communication, make full use of the platform set up by training, participate in discussion actively, be inspired by each other, pool the wisdom and efforts of everyone, and accomplish common promotion; and the third is to observe training discipline strictly, enhance academic atmosphere construction, make appropriate work arrangement, and show a good mental outlook.
COMAC training center and HAECO Xiamen fully communicated with each other, carefully designed the training course, adopted various forms of training such as intensive classes, group discussion, on-the-spot teaching according to specialties and site visit, and focused on the aspects such as aviation maintenance management, standardized operation, safety management, civil aviation laws and regulations as well as system layouts and system design concepts of advanced aircraft types, in order to achieve the purposes of helping the trainees to understand the operation and engineering maintenance status of aviation enterprises and accomplishing the "five matchmakings" with customers.
There were 26 COMAC workers specialized in science and technology management, program management, quality and airworthiness, marketing, purchasing and supplier management, systems engineering and program management, etc. participating in the training.
