Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) held the Commencement for the 7th "COMAC Star" Training Courses for the trainees to report learning outcomes and exchange learning experience on January 12th, 2017. Mr. Liu Linzong, Vice President of COMAC, attended the commencement and awarded diplomas to the trainees.
Mr. Liu Shuxin, Monitor of the 7th "COMAC Star" Training Class, made a brief summary of the learning, and representative of each training group made an action learning subject report respectively. Mr. Liu Shuxin, on behalf of all the trainees, expressed that they would internalize the knowledge acquired in their minds and externalize it in acts, have a firm belief in the trunk liner dream, take responsibility for overcoming difficulties, do solid work, pay special attention to implementation, and constantly create a new prospect for the development of the trunk liner career.
After carefully listening to the speeches of all the speakers, Mr. Liu Linzong said that the construction of young cadre team meant a great deal to the company; the company would build an "expressway" and carry out the "Youth Program" to speed up the training of young cadres with high political quality and good professional quality, build a "talent pool" to form a dynamic selection and development mechanism of high-level backbone talents, make good use of "race track" to innovate personnel selection and appointment mechanism, and build a "forge shop" to specifically cultivate versatile talents and accelerate the growth of talents through appointing them to multiple job posts. He stressed that young cadres of the company should develop a sense of loyalty, corroborate the ideal and belief, foster strategic perspective, expand global vision, enhance the spirit of innovation, dare to explore and practice, shape excellent character, improve own quality, and bravely take responsibilities for the trunk liner career.
33 trainees who were divided into five groups systematically studied coaching style leadership and team human resource management through swapping cutting-edge ideas with customers and suppliers, learned executive force, team motivation, employee counselling, organization development, change management and other modern management methods and tools through the Internet, innovatively used the action learning to solve problems of the company, and carried out on-the-spot teaching at Xibaipo revolutionary base. These five groups carried out action learning subject studies of three key issues about the development of the company, including integrated construction, youth talent management and summary of experience in type development, and analyzed the current status, defined the objective and put forward preliminary suggestions based on scientific analysis and full discussion.
